During lockdown, teenagers of an island known for it’s mass tourism, flocked increasingly to a pier. The world stopped, but for them a new one opened.
Small groups of kids and teenagers gathered, each with their own spot and set of rules, reclaiming a space otherwise taken over by tourists. A small area where power dynamics between locals and tourism briefly changed, echooing a desire for taking back what is lost.
